This special training is for those selected internally to act as first points of contact for employees with concerns about bullying, harassment, discrimination or victimisation. It is critical that ‘confidential contacts’ are able to handle situations professionally and appropriately

Who should attend?
This is designed for managers and others who are responsible for policy and strategy and who will be required to complete Equality Impact Assessments (EIA) on the full range of their policies and procedures to assess the impact of each on the promotion of diversity in the organisation and on minority groups in particular.

- The purpose of the assessment
- How to complete the questionnaires
- How to handle the results, understanding how action plans may assist in addressing any adverse impact uncovered by the EIA process and positively promote good Equality and Diversity practice.
This can be followed by an additional half day workshop (optional) where delegates can actually carry out an assessment of a policy of their choice with guidance from the course tutor.
